Leigh Hancher joins the firm as Counsel and will provide litigation and administrative law support for our clients, including in contested certificate of need matters and licensure issues. She recently concluded a successful stint as the Chief Legal Officer for the City of McDonough, Georgia. In that role, Leigh was responsible for contracts and legislative work as well as for personnel and risk management legal matters, including employment-related investigations. Prior to that time, Leigh was a partner in a South Metro law firm in which she was active in liability defense litigation and alternative dispute resolution, among other matters.
Leigh is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Georgia State University College of Law. When she isn’t practicing law she spends her time helping her husband and cinematographer Josh provide services to Atlanta’s fast-growing movie industry, keeping up with her 2 boys, and indulging her twin passions of gardening and restoring furniture.
